CELTA Course Online now offered by 40 centres

According to this search I just did on the Cambridge ESOL Find Courses page. If that’s true, it’s really come out of nowhere because last time I looked into the matter (which may well have been a while ago, come to think of it) it was still being trialled.

It is actually a blended course, despite the name, and for the IH London course the face-to-face component is two evenings a week over 12 weeks, so in their case it’s a replacement for a straightforward part-time course rather than for a full-time one. That centre is also only offering 3 courses in 2012, so not really an earth-shattering change yet. One to watch, though…

    Certainly an interesting development. I think much though not all the input could be done well enough at a distance. Not the TP or observations of course.

    Curious to see how this turns out.
