Presentations Q&A stage practice/ Indirect questions practice
You are going to watch a TED.com talk on a psychological test where children are put in a room with a marshmallow on their own for fifteen minutes. Think about what you would want to know about that test and write (polite/ indirect) questions to get those answers below. Try to use a different indirect question starter for each one.

Ask your questions to someone from another group. If they don’t know the answer, they can either make up an imaginary answer or politely not answer the question (yet).
As you watch the video, write the answers to any of your questions which were answered.

Make up at least one more question which wasn’t answered in the talk.
Ask your other questions to the whole class, discuss what is the most likely answer each time.
Roleplay a whole Q&A stage after this presentation.
Ask about anything that was difficult about the Q&A stage.

- Follow-up questions after the answer

Change pairs. Roleplay the same Q&A stage, but making sure you do all of the things above this time.
