Choose two cards of the same kind (e.g. two kinds of holiday cards) at random. Look at your cards, but don’t show your partner. If you don’t understand one of your cards, the teacher will tell you if you should change it or how you can find out what it means.
Ask questions to find out which of the two kinds of holiday is better for your partner, without using any of the words on the cards. When you are sure, tell your partner which holiday you chose for them. Then show them both cards and see if they agree.
