Instructions for teachers
Get students to add horns, wings, antennae, legs, claws, stings, spots etc to design their own insects, then maybe write the description underneath. I got them to make it with different coloured card to get more interactional language out of it, with this page blown the page up to A3 on the photocopier. They can then present their bugs, show their pictures for other groups to describe, read out their descriptions for other groups to draw, etc.
