Read out one sentence to your partner without the year and see if they can guess what year you wrote. If they are wrong, give them hints like what other things you think will probably happen/ be true in the same year and how wrong they are. Continue with one hint and then one guess until your partner guesses the year. See if they agree with your predictions, discuss for longer if you like, then take turns doing the same.
When your teacher stops the guessing game, ask about any sentences above you aren’t sure about, discussing probable years as a class each time.
