You are of course right, but I find students and even teachers are generally scared off by the word “determiner”, so I tend to say “articles or things like articles” in class. I have a similar policy on misuse of the word “tense”. You can of course change the worksheet before using it if you don’t agree.

Come to think of it, “my” is a possessive adjective of course, the equivalent possessive pronoun being “mine”
