Roll the dice and try to make a question that no one has asked before starting the way that is next to that number. You get one point for each correct question which your partner can answer and which no one has asked yet today. You get no point if you ask the same question as you or your partner already asked, but even a small change is okay, e.g. “How old is your sister?” and later “How old is your youngest sister?” You also get no point if your partner says “I don’t know” or if you take more than 20 seconds to make a new question after you roll the dice.
Version 1
- Do you…?
- Are you…?
- Where’s…?
- What …?
- How…?
- Whose…?
Version 2
- Do you…?
- Can you…?
- What…?
- When…?/ What time…?
- Where…?
- Is…?
Version 3
- How old…?
- Where…?
- When…?/ What time…?
- What…?
- How many…?
- Do you…?
Work together as a class to think of more questions, starting with any numbers which you had difficulty with and/ or which didn’t come up often on the dice.
