Instructions for teachers
Choose which sets of cards from below you want to use and cut up one set per class or per group of two to four students. The cards need to have two ends and so shouldn’t be cut along the middle. After asking students to do so together, students take turns racing to put the cards together in the correct order. If that is too challenging, you can:
- Mix the cards up in front of the students (meaning they can also use their memory)
- Let them look at a list of number words in order (before starting the game, during a brief pause in the game, or while playing the game)
You could then possibly play actual dominoes, but it works better with several packs of cards mixed together.
