Instructions for teachers
Cut up and shuffle the cards and put them face up where everyone can see them. Students take turns asking politely for one of the cards, and get rewarded whenever they can make a sentence out of the cards they have been given so far, e.g. a point and/ or one extra card. The blank cards can be used to add extra words at the beginning of the activity, and/ or students can be allowed to ask for them sometimes to write their own choice of words on.
When you stop the game, you could let them look at the un-cut-up worksheet and see if they can make any more of those sentences with their cards.
