Shuffle up the cards and lay all the words face up on the floor or table(s). Ask students a “How many…?” question about one of the categories, e.g. “How many colours?” The student who bids the biggest number must try to find that many cards in that category. Stop them if they make a mistake and change to the next bid down. Continue until someone finds the number that they claimed, then do the same with at least one more category. They can then set similar challenges for each other.
