I should point out again, perhaps, that these lists are for TEFL.net reviews rather than my own amusement… As such, this doesn’t include all the CUP Applied Linguistics and Linguistics titles, as most of this year’s are a bit too theoretical to be worth reviewing on a site for teachers. There are noticeably more of such titles than there are methodology titles, which seems to be true across quite a few publishers. Could be the university connection, perhaps. If not, I can only imagine that they actually do make money on them (somehow).
Other noticeable bits were the number of American English versions, KET for Schools, and ESP titles. There’s also quite a lot for IGCE and UK-specific ESOL stuff, but again haven’t bothered to list much of that.
If you fancy a free copy of one of these for a short (but thorough) review, details of how to get involved are here.

Another thing that was noticeable was that all the new graded readers came from people like Jeremy Harmer who have been writing them since at least the 80s. Not much hope of breaking into that field for the rest of us then…
