New Macmillan titles in 2011

As with the lists of Cambridge and Pearson titles, lovingly typed out so that I can send you all freebies in exchange for short but perfectly formed reviews.

Most noticeable for me this time was lots of titles for international schools/ ESOL/ fairly high level CLIL (not listed, as not exactly TEFL), something for the Computer-based FCE (which has apparently been around for a while, though you’d never know it here in Asia), and an eBook store. Pretty conservative and predictable otherwise, but maybe they are putting all their bets on Global.

As far as the eBook store goes, most of the titles on the site are quite old but having access to Play Games with English and An A to Z of ELT (both coming in 2011) wherever you are can’t be a bad thing. Apparently you will also be able to buy individual chapters of books.
