Another one of those things that are so simple that it’s difficult to believe I’d never come across them or come up with them before. Simply design discussion questions to also be used after to brainstorm specific vocabulary. For example, students discuss questions like “Are there any green spaces near where you live? What do you think of them?”, brainstorm possible examples of the underlined bit, then discuss the same questions again in different groups.
