As I was writing those typically TEFLtastic articles of game ideas that I was recently on the topic of pronunciation, I suddenly had what seems to be an original idea. As that is not like me at all, will be very happy for anyone to disabuse me of the notion in comments below so I can get back to yet more variations on pelmanisms…
And the idea was – combining collocations and pronunciation. It really does seem to be doing what I always say is impossible in TEFL, properly hitting two birds with one lesson plan. The slight disadvantage is that it would take looooooooaaaaads of time to prepare properly. As I am a lazy bugger but (fortunately) totally uninterested in material possessions, I’d be delighted if someone stole my idea and make a book or bunch of worksheets out of it that I could use too.
