1. Don’t Put your Trousers On Your Head
Body parts and clothes. Very amusing and fairly easy to mime, but quite fast and with some difficult vocabulary.
2. I Can Run
Can/ Can’t and actions. Nice tune, nice use of repetition, and easy to mime.
Transport vocabulary and prepositions, including the seldom sung prepositions of movement
4. Abracadabra
Good vocab, very physical, and amusing visuals, but crappy tune and sound quality.
Ties in really well with a cute story on the site (link on that page). Quite similar to the plot of Toy Story 3 too. Good for toys vocabulary
Can and can’t with animals and actions. Quite amusing but particularly bad sound quality
7. The Hungry Hippo
Original way of doing body part vocab.
Days of the week. Much more catchy and amusing than any other days of the week songs that I know
9. When Goldilocks Went to the House of the Bears
Adjectives- Big, little and tiny. Changes the story a bit, but otherwise links well with any books of this story. Good surprise ending and very cute bears!
10. People Work
Jobs vocabulary. Pretty quick, so would need a gapfill task or to ignore most of the words and just do one action for each job. Dangerously catchy.
11. Dean and Pearl
Spies topic is a bit too specific but difficult to mime. Have got
Road safety and imperatives, so very specific to that point, but great tune and actions. Could maybe be tied in with classroom rules??
