EL Gazette archives free to view and fully searchable

I’ve been enjoying the amazing ability to view the whole of EL Gazette online for free every month for at least a couple of years now. (Don’t ask how they can possibly make money from making it free, they might change their minds!) It was only about a week ago, however, that I discovered you can browse all the back issues too by:

– Clicking on the “back issues” button (you can see how that was a bit too complicated for me to work out on my own)

– Clicking on the “search” button and selecting “Look in all issues” for your search.

For example, by searching for “Kaplan” I found the classic story I was searching for that “In March we printed a memo from Kaplan Aspect telling staff they were aware the practice was illegal, though they were continuing to roll up holiday pay” but went away with a rather different impression of them seeing how many times their name was liked to the words “centre of excellence”!
