Saw a great toy yesterday which is a three metre long plastic pipe with phone headsets at the end:
Would be perfect for handing around the class to practise questions and answers through, first with the teacher holding one end and asking the questions, then with students at both ends doing question and response.
You could do the same thing with a simple plastic pipe of the same kind (available from DIY shops), but you might need to add something at the end to keep it from getting too close to their ears or they could literally deafen each other if they shout.
You could also do the same thing with toy walkie talkies and even just paper cups connected by string (the latter doesn’t transmit the sound well if at all but still adds some kind of element of fun and clearly shows who should speak and that a question and answer is required).
